This course is a highly interactive course that will guide you through the methods used to properly size water pipe, using the 2018 UPC.

Total CEUs = 0.2 hours or 2 hours

Upon completion of this you will be able to:

1.      Calculate the distance from the water meter to the furthest remote outlet in the system.
2.      Calculate the total demand fixture units in a building.
3.      Factor in the elevation (head loss) of the highest cold water outlet.
4.      Use the available water meter pressure to determine the correct water pipe size for a given diagram.
