This four-day course is based on the CSA F280-12 (R2021), Determining the required capacity of residential space heating and cooling appliances, a nationally recognized standard referenced by all Canadian Building Codes. It takes students through step-by-step calculations to help them determine the required or appropriate appliances after understanding the heat loss and heat gain in building envelopes.

This course is offered virtually through the following blocks: March 21/22 to 28/29, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm CDT. 

The cost for the course is $1,089 plus tax for HRAI members and $1,499.00 + tax for non-members.
